DALLAS/FORT WORTH - This month on CEO, host Lee Cullum explores the natural gas industry with Chairman and CEO of Atmos Energy, Bob Best. The century-old company is the largest pure natural gas utility in the country serving over 3 million customers in 12 states. The half-hour conversation covers topics ranging from the Barnett Shale and mounting public concern over drilling safety to the distribution of natural gas and the growing need for energy in Texas and the nation.
CEO with host Lee Cullum features intimate discussions with successful North Texas business leaders from the corporate and non-for-profit sectors about what it takes to make a company successful in today’s global marketplace and changing economy. The July program featuring Bob Best of Atmos Energy airs Friday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. on KERA-TV with rebroadcasts Sunday, August 1 at 11:30 a.m. and Monday, August 2 at 10:30 p.m. CEO can be heard at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1 on KERA-FM.
